Mid Year Cruise 2026
Tamborine Memorial Hall
09:00 – 15:00
Mid-Year 86 BRZ Cruise! Sunday 19th July 2026
Join us again for one of our biggest social events / cruises of the year. We are starting at Tambourine Memorial Hall at 9 for a pre-cruise meetup (Look for the QLD86BRZ Flag) then making our way down for lunch at The Beechmont Hotel. After a good feed, we'll make our way further south into NSW and end the drive at Elanora! This will take us through some fun driving, scenic and twisty mountain roads and is a great opportunity to meet many members of the club, take photos and have a great day out! Please note that as of the moment, the route is subject to change and more information will be released as it is finalised.
If you're intending to come to the event, please get a free ticket down below to help up keep track of numbers.
A Google map route is available here:
Part 1: https://maps.app.goo.gl/wpRsvYtdX2rpLdf56
Part 2: https://maps.app.goo.gl/5Gr23t8zjDWFshN8A
Please note that the route may be subject to change depending on weather and road conditions.
Things to note on the cruise
The route has been chosen to be a fun mix of technical and more open roads, there are still a few things that should be noted for your safety and enjoyment:
1. E85 users please fill up before going! This is an approximately 150km route and we dont you to miss out on it. You know your car (and driving style) best, so keep this in mind.
2. The maps link has several stops placed to direct the route correctly. We will not be stopping at all of these, only at The Beechmont Hotel. It works best if you skip the next stop shortly before reaching it so the maps app has time to adjust.
3. The final stop for the cruise is at a parking structure. Please proceed to the top of the parking area.
4. Some of the roads may narrow down to one lane at a time, so please drive accordingly.
5. Roadwork is expected during the beginning of the route.
6. Speed cameras and police are known to patrol these roads, please keep that in mind. There are fixed speed cameras on either side of the QLD/NSW border. The fines are not cheap!
7. Current weather predictions are looking a little wet! Please drive to the conditions and be safe!
General Notes for the day
This is a CRUISE not a Rally, there are no prizes for getting to the venue first. All attendees should adhere to all road rules and obey all signs, speed limits and drive to the conditions. Please be respectful when leaving our starting and end points, your behaviour reflects on us as a Club.
Some of the roads on our cruise are winding and fun to drive, but use common sense and stay safe. Take it easy and keep a safe following distance. Maintaining a good following distance also allows for more flowing traffic through the winding sections of road. When turning at an intersection, wait until the person behind you can see you and where you're going. This helps prevent people from getting lost!
It's looking like a great day out, so we'll see you there!!!

General Notes for the day
This is a CRUISE not a Rally, there are no prizes for being the first one there, you still have to wait for them to cook your lunch after all. All attendees should adhere to all road rules and obey all signs, speed limits and drive to the conditions. Please be respectful when leaving our starting and end points, your behaviour reflects on us as a Club.
Parking at the Samford Hotel is limited, so we intend to park across the street near the doctors office and other closed shops. We will organise before we head off so we can leave together.
The cruise will be less technical than other routes, but still has some tight roads with sharp corners; keep yourself free from distractions and generally stay switched on.
Along Clear Mountain is a somewhat populated area with a hotel. Please drive accordingly and respectfully near these residences.
Be courteous to everyone else on the cruise. Just because you can make that yellow light or intersection doesn't mean the car behind you can.
The roads on our cruise are winding and fun to drive but also be aware that road conditions can change very quickly, especially after rain. Take it easy and keep a safe following distance. End of Year Cruise 2025
Woolworths Woodford
08:30 – 14:00
End of Year 86 BRZ Cruise!
The year is coming to a close again, so lets celebrate it with a cruise! Join us for one of our biggest social events of the year and a great way to meet other club members. This year, the cruise will be heading off from Woodford and going along the scenic and twisting mountain roads of the Sunshine Coast. Our midway stopping point will be at Philip St in Kenilworth for us to regroup and have a stretch before heading off to the lunch destination at Baringa Tavern.
A Google map route for the cruise is available here (Please note this may be subject to change):
https://maps.app.goo.gl/e5TUnVHsr31umC8f6
The route for just the second half is here:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/reM5v4z6D8ccicZo7
This is a great opportunity to meet many members of the club, take photos and have a great day out! If you're intending to come, please get a free ticket down below to help up keep track of numbers. If you're taking some photos, send them to us so we can feature them on our website and socials!
Things to note on the route
The route has been chosen to be a fun mix of mountain roads that should prove to be an exciting drive. There are a few things that should be noted for your safety and enjoyment:
1. E85 USERS: BE PREPARED! This is an approximately 160km route and we dont you to miss out on it. You know your cars best, so plan to fill up before or make provisions if you need to. It's better to play it safe than end up stuck out there!
2. While we aim to have space for everyone at out starting and stopping locations, these are still public car parks which may become full. If you cannot find a space in the designated area, please just find one close by.
3. Please have a copy of the route with you. We want you all to enjoy the cruise and dont want anyone to end up getting lost on the way. Don't just rely on the car in front of you, as they may be just as lost as you!
4. Speed cameras and police are known to patrol these roads, please keep that in mind.
5. There is currently some rain predicted after the cruise, however South east Queesland weather can change without much warning.
Don't drive harder than you or the conditions can handle. Once again, it's a cruise, not a track day!
